Our Executive Director
Lori Dixon, Ed.S. is the co-founder and Executive Director of ABT in Action. She has served as an educator, administrator, professor, and therapist, with children and youth of all ages and diverse needs. She is an author, speaker, coach and consultant in education, small business, and nonprofits for over 25 years. Her company relationships and ownerships (ABT in Action and Learning Compass) were chosen as a response to the growing need in the educational field for knowledge-based, experiential learning programs and services.
Lori strives for creating and supporting the ongoing shifts in our organizations for sustainable cultures of innovation to impact our students, schools, families, and communities. Lori is a certified partner with Asset-Based Thinking (ABT) and Dr. Kathryn Cramer and is a certified master trainer for ABT Action Coaching.
